Dependence on natural resources poses an increasingly serious risk for the environment in parallel with the world’s socioeconomic and ecosystemic progress and development. In all of our mining activities, we endeavor to protect the environment while also maintaining economic and social balance.

To ensure efficient use of natural resources, we strive to minimize our fossil fuel and water consumption in all of our operations from mining to flotation and leaching, as we consider this one of our main responsibilities to the future.

We know that our policy of eco-sensitivity can only be made truly feasible and sustainable if we embrace our responsibilities without any compromise. Reducing the energy consumption of our business and facilities, complete disposal of hazardous chemicals, and R&D efforts to utilize eco-sensitive and recyclable material and renewable energies in our line of work are some of the key aspects of what we do.

Eighty-five thousand apple trees: not simply as a gesture, but as a source of employment!

We take into account ways of creating value for nearby settlements when establishing our facilities. To create jobs for women, we created an apple orchard by planting 85,000 trees in Niğde, Tepeköy, where our enrichment plant is located. The orchard has created jobs for 40 families, and the capable hands of the women running the orchard produce around 300 tons of apples every year.
